Deputy Minister T.Szatkowski in Berlin

30th November, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of National Defense Tomasz Szatkowski attended  the MSC’s “European Defence Roundtable” in Berlin.

The meetings under this project have pan-European nature and are organized in various cities by the Munich Security Conference, which next to its flagship event periodically conducts thematic seminars, including talks in the field of European defense. In this events taking part high representatives from the world of politics, army and the economy.

During his stay in Berlin, Deputy Minister T. Szatkowski also met with the parliamentary Secretary of State in the Federal Ministry of Defense Ralf Brauksiepe and discussed condition and the prospects of the development political and military cooperation between Poland and Germany. There were also discussed issues related to current works on further adaptation NATO against threats, including the reform the Command Structure of the Alliance and the EU's defense policy, especially in the context of the Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO).
