On March 8th Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of National Defence of Poland Mr Tomasz Szatkowski met Sir Alan Duncan, Minister of State for Europe and the Americas at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, UK. Minister Alan Duncan arrived in Warsaw to participate in the Polish-British Belvedere Forum (8–9 March).

Ministers discussed the European security environment and the Polish-British military cooperation. Undersecretary Tomasz Szatkowski expressed his appreciation for the British contribution to strengthening our region on the bilateral basis as well as the British declarations to the enhanced Forward Presence (eFP).
 
Ministers emphasized the significance of the UK-Polish partnership and the defence industry cooperation. Sir Alan Duncan assured that, in spite of Brexit, the United Kingdom will not disappear from the European security architecture and will remain its important contributor.
